Theme: We've been at this thing, called motherhood, a long time. Will we ever get it right? In this presentation we take a comical look at yesterday and today's mothers. (PS. Fatherhood, is the oldest profession!)
Deco: Old and New Pictures of Mothers, Old and New "Mom" clothes. Old and New household items like ironing boards, etc.
Hats
Theme: The many hats we as mothers wear and how we wear them.
Deco: Hats of all kinds just hung everywhere. Also, maybe have a hat contest and ask everyone to where a hat!
You are "Sew" Special
Theme: The talents and traits we "Sew" into our children and looks at what pattern we are using. Deco: Sewing machines, old and new. Patterns tape measures, and all kinds of sewing notions. One group even used plain paper and printed "MyCalls" patterns! Then inside was the program and other little goodies!

Buttons and Bows
Theme: Buttons are usually functional and Bows are for adornment, both are necessary.
Deco: Jars of buttons, bows, buttons glued to place mats. Small sewing kits that have buttons in them tied with a bow.
Patchwork/Quilts
Theme: Just as a quilt has light and dark patches so do our lives. In this presentation we actually build a cloth quilt as we talk about the things we give to each other.
Deco: Quilts old and new, large and small, sewing baskets.
A Women's Work
Theme: Our work as mothers is a life long occupation.
Deco: Set up different areas of the room with "Work" stations. Example: Ironing board with a basket of clothes, a sack of flour, dozen of eggs, mixing bowl, a mop and bucket. Don't forget the "Bank Loan Co." and "Doctor's Office" Let your mind run wild!
Cup Full of Memories
Theme: The Memories that we keep in our "cup". What are the memories that you are clinging to?
Deco: All kinds of tea cup, teapots, old white dress gloves, pearls, lace.
Flowers & other "Things" We Grow
Theme: Be careful, what you plant will grow someday!
Deco: Flowers, real and plastic, gardening tools etc.
